Problem:
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but breast cancer can happen at any moment throughout the year.

And with early detection, 99% of breast cancer is survivable.

Insight:
Women and mean are try on clothes throughout the year, throughout the world, every moment of everyday.

So what if we could leverage those moments of self assessment to really check yourself out?

Idea: Check You Out
I created a mirror decal that would guide people through a self breast exam while they are in the fitting room. I partnered with boutiques around San Francisco to have the decals placed in their fitting rooms. The design forgoes the clinical and ominous tone that most medical guides have, and instead is something that is fashionable and empowering.
